We are a specialized service so the first form of contact is to use our inquiry system that notifies us via email. We will respond and ask for photos and some basic information about the structure so that we can see the wood conditions. Depending on circumstances we will arrange for an in-person meeting with a consultation fee to cover our costs in visitation, travel, and office work to compile an accurate estimate for project scope.
We have found greater success in projects when there is a thorough investigation of the wood, conversation with owners, and time in office to create as much detailed estimation possible to eliminate any unforeseen circumstances that could lead to mis-interpretation and work order changes.
After the Quote is agreed to, a proposal that defines the project scope, schedule, and payment process is defined to keep expectations clear for both parties. This approach has ensured many successful projects that avoid mis-interpretations, unfulfilled expectations, and clear positive communications.
Average projects are usually focused towards whole building restorations and repairs. On some occasions we will accept smaller, single window & wood fixes but strongly encourage people to deliver windows to our shop to dramatically reduce costs.
